Low cloud

LOW CLOUD

Above the cloud line
and across the valley,
the mountain road leads up to the peak

and beyond, possibly, into the
remotest limits of the sky.

I look up, smile quietly, and
sing a song of earthbound content.

Infinity and eternity, and the ability to be happy in the here and now, that’s a gift. Thanks for reminding us!

Another nice one, John. I’m glad to see the creative juices are starting to perk again for you. It also seems a hopeful sign that your stress levels are decreasing?

In case I don’t get to check back in before the day…. Merry Christmas to you and Graham and Dolly!
And to all my fellow readers!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I enjoy reading your daily posts about life. They keep me warm during winter in Sweden.
